Practical stay
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am. If your train or flight requires a different schedule, please let us know – we manage the chalet ourselves and will do our best to accommodate when possible.
Directly on this website, on the Book page. You book directly with the owners, with no agency or intermediary; a deposit is required when booking and the balance before your arrival.
It's made for big gatherings: five bedrooms, a table that seats everyone at once, and a fully equipped kitchen. The house sleeps eight adults, or ten people when four of them are children. Tell us your group's composition and we'll tell you how to arrange the bedrooms.
Yes. Your login details will be provided upon arrival.
Please only smoke in the two designated areas: the ground-floor balcony-terrace (please note it overlooks the garden by 2 metres) and the natural terrace on the right side of the house (when facing it from the lane). An ashtray is provided at each spot. Dropping cigarette butts on the ground is strictly prohibited anywhere: garden, meadow, or lane. In the lane: never in the evening (voices carry in the hamlet), possible during the day provided no butts are left behind.
No, pets are not permitted in the chalet, regardless of type. We prefer to make this clear before your booking rather than upon arrival.
With children
Yes. A travel cot is provided free of charge and can be set up in whichever room you prefer. Simply let us know your child’s age when booking, and we’ll prepare the room accordingly.
No, we provide one. There’s no need to bring it in the car.
The house
Two stoves instead of a fireplace: a wood-burning stove in the living room and a pellet stove. More efficient at heating, and just as pleasant to watch in the evening.
The Cabane des 4 is a restored village house, not a resort chalet: inside, you’ll find a spacious living area with exposed beams, a wood-burning stove, a balcony overlooking the peaks, and genuine room for ten. For the spa, nearby resorts are just a fifteen-minute drive away.
Around the chalet
Two major ski areas are less than half an hour away. Paradiski and La Plagne connect in just fifteen minutes via the Champagny cable car; Courchevel Le Praz and the Three Valleys are a twenty-five-minute drive along the Bozel road. Pralognan-la-Vanoise, more family-oriented and peaceful, is just ten minutes away, while Méribel les Allues is thirty-five minutes. You’ll enjoy a peaceful stay in a hamlet, yet remain within easy reach of Savoie’s finest ski resorts.
The Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains train station is seventeen kilometres away, roughly a twenty-five-minute drive. It is served by direct TGVs from Paris and, seasonally, by Eurostar; shuttles and taxis provide the transfer up to the hamlet.
Not in the immediate valley. You’ll find the tables we love on our Activities page, and Courchevel, just half an hour away, offers a far wider selection if you’re after a big table.
The Bozel lake and its beach are just a ten-minute drive from the chalet. Please check with the local council for opening times and lifeguard supervision, which vary by season.
Mountains and safety
Check the daily Avalanche Risk Bulletin (BERA) for the massif, published by Météo-France. We do not provide assessments of the conditions: if venturing off-piste, always hire a mountain guide or qualified mountain leader.
